I'm studying about pain management when I get a call from Kindercare. First thought, who's sick? Nope...Asst. Director, Michelle would like me to talk to Coulson because he's causing a disturbance in the class. I realize that when Coulson was sick he did have a little personality disturbance during that week but it has been progressing into school as I found out yesterday. We had a talk at home, he claims he understood but evidently it didn't work.
This is what happened...Miss Ryan is getting all the kids set up for naps after lunch and asks Coulson to get on his cot. Coulson said "No." Miss Ryan again asks him to get on his cot for a nap. This time he sticks his tongue out and screams No as he began running around the classroom. That's when Michelle called.
I proceeded to tell Coulson that I was disappointed in his behavior and this was going to stop because it was not only unacceptable but disrespectful to Miss Ryan. "Ok Mommy."
It's 4:30 pm, I go to pick him up and he just got put into "Time Out" for not listening and talking back to Miss Ryan.
Needless to say, I'm not happy with his behavior. It is a full moon, do you think it has anything to do with it?
Logan had a great day! He got to meet a newly graduated Marine from Bootcamp. Miss Voegtle, Logan's Kindergarten teacher, invited her brother to read to the students. It was also hat day and Logan was able to wear the hat of a US Marine! He thinks that is cool!
Coulson is having a very difficult time at the moment because he is in his room. That's his punishment for his disrespectful behavior. He is now trying to negotiate with Scott to get out of time out. He says, "Don't you see my tears?" He doesn't have a tear, let alone trying to make one.
Note: DO NOT STICK YOUR TONGUE OUT AT YOUR TEACHER! He's lucky I haven't pulled it out of his mouth and put sassy sauce (tabasco) on it.
