Disrespect...and lessons

I'm studying about pain management when I get a call from Kindercare. First thought, who's sick? Nope...Asst. Director, Michelle would like me to talk to Coulson because he's causing a disturbance in the class. I realize that when Coulson was sick he did have a little personality disturbance during that week but it has been progressing into school as I found out yesterday. We had a talk at home, he claims he understood but evidently it didn't work.

This is what happened...Miss Ryan is getting all the kids set up for naps after lunch and asks Coulson to get on his cot. Coulson said "No." Miss Ryan again asks him to get on his cot for a nap. This time he sticks his tongue out and screams No as he began running around the classroom. That's when Michelle called.

I proceeded to tell Coulson that I was disappointed in his behavior and this was going to stop because it was not only unacceptable but disrespectful to Miss Ryan. "Ok Mommy."

It's 4:30 pm, I go to pick him up and he just got put into "Time Out" for not listening and talking back to Miss Ryan.

Needless to say, I'm not happy with his behavior. It is a full moon, do you think it has anything to do with it?

Logan had a great day! He got to meet a newly graduated Marine from Bootcamp. Miss Voegtle, Logan's Kindergarten teacher, invited her brother to read to the students. It was also hat day and Logan was able to wear the hat of a US Marine! He thinks that is cool!

Coulson is having a very difficult time at the moment because he is in his room. That's his punishment for his disrespectful behavior. He is now trying to negotiate with Scott to get out of time out. He says, "Don't you see my tears?" He doesn't have a tear, let alone trying to make one.

Note: DO NOT STICK YOUR TONGUE OUT AT YOUR TEACHER! He's lucky I haven't pulled it out of his mouth and put sassy sauce (tabasco) on it.

The Easter Bunny...

Last night we saw the bunny...Easter Bunny.

Coulson asked the Easter Bunny for Optimus Prime. He loves the Transformers!

Logan asked for a DS. I had to consult Scott on this and evidently its a little video game. Ok, I'm not ready for them to play the video games but I suppose this was on the horizon.

When I picked up Logan from school, he shared with me that he was student of the day! Good Job! Mommy and daddy are very proud of you!

This is Official...

It is official, I am really moving on...I received my new work computer, printer and all the training materials. Good Lord! It is A LOT!!! I'm overwhelmed just by opening the boxes and seeing all these thick books.

Logan is really trying to understand what I really do. He knows I'm in sales, realizes I sell medicine and slowly comprehending how I actually do it. I told him, we all have teachers and we will always be in school for the rest of our lives. He says, "Oh no, really? Aah man!" Joking I tell him, I pretend to be a doctor. Then he's gotten very excited and then I've realized, I can't do that because he will then say who knows what. I've resorted now to tell him, I teach doctors and nurses about new medicines that are just brand new to the market. He's very curious.

Coulson is feeling tons better!

Gotta run, Logan has religious education tonight or as he says, "Church school."

See ya'

The New Beginning...Endo

This was the new day! My tenure has brought me to a new beginning with a career at Endo Pharmaceuticals. Even with that tenured rep status it brings me to a new level of "Rookie." I'm very excited to have this opportunity not only for myself but for our family. This may even allow me the time to workout and become a more healthy mom. Scheduling will be easier, etc. Did I mention that I've registered the boys to play Tee Ball? Something I couldn't do with my previous job because I was always driving. They can now be kids and try various activities. That is very exciting.

Coulson had the never ending flu. The darn virus lasted eight days, yes, 8 days! Today is Monday, he stayed home again from school because last night he went to be with a 103.4* fever. I told him today, he had to be better by tomorrow because daddy or mommy couldn't be at home. He just smiled and said, "I'm sick and I don't want to go to school!" "We'll see about that, You will be going."

Logan was very excited to see that I got a new race car with the new job. It will be a big change to driving a car from driving a van over the past five years. Change is good!

Have a great day and we'll talk soon.

Never ending fever...

We are on day five of Coulson and the flu. When is the end? The lucky number for Thursday is 102.5*, this has been all day! The poor guy is miserable and there isn't anything I can do except make his as comfortable as possible which isn't easy at this point.

Here are a couple of pictures of Logan who is proud of his block castle.

Like the cheesy smile? He has such a nice smile but when it comes to pictures he like to give the fake cheesy smiles.

Pray that tomorrow we can break this fever. Please!

It Continues...

As the flu continues, he was feeling a little better during the mid afternoon. So we took some pictures with the dogs. The pictures came from my new phone that I'm still getting used to utilizing so the quality isn't the best at this point because I'm moving slightly. I'll have to edit some settings or just stop moving.

Here is Coulson with Shadow. She is like glue to him while he's sick and he is getting very irritated that she keeps giving him kisses. This is a cute picture though...

Here is double trouble, Guinness and Shadow. They are so mischevious, you have to keep your eyes on them. They will find something and play with it, destroy it or even eat it. Things can be put away and somehow they will get it.

Guiness & Coulson are buddies when they want to be. Guinness is still a puppy and doesn't realize his strength. At 10 months old and 65lbs, he is twice the weight as Coulson.

Well, Scott is home so I can go to work for awhile. It is Coulson and daddy time now...

the FLU...

How does 104.8* sound? That is what Coulson woke up with last night at 11:00 pm. Have you ever known someone that suddenly become so stubborn, you shake your head and go, "Who are you?" That is how I define Coulson last night. The child refused the shower and bath to help break the fever, refused Motrin (which he loves to take if I offer) and refused anything to drink. So I threatened the hospital. That worked after about a half hour trying to "sponge" him down. The on-call physician was really nice and said if I couldn't get his fever to 102* within an hour, we needed to go to the hospital. Long story short, Scott came home, we got the fever down for a brief period and watched it rise again.

You just have to love the flu! Anyway, we'll talk later.

Bitter Sweet

Saying Good-bye to some of my customers is really hard considering I've known some for 12 years and others seven. I've received many hugs, lots of good wishes and a part of me with the question, "Am I doing the right thing?" This coming week will be more of a challenge as I plan on visiting more close customers over the next week or so as I start my new job on March 10.

Coulson has the flu bug. Last night the poor little guy got sick and was so worried about his jammies being dirty. Gave him Motrin, he slept and came into our room this morning about 4:00 am. His fever was back but higher now at 102.3. He's been home from school and sleeping.

Tomorrow, hopefully he will be better so he can go to school. He is quite the socialite as all the girls just love him. When he leaves school, he will walk around and gives hugs to EVERY girl there. The girls in his class even color him pictures, HE IS FOUR! What will it be like when he's in high school?

Yesterday was so nice here, we literally had a 50+ degree day. I took full advantage of it, dressed the boys accordingly, and out we went. The rode their bikes, big wheels, colored the drive with chalk, played baseball, basketball and soccer. They were wanting to play football next when the rain started. The fresh air was amazing!

Spring is on its way, positive thinking!
